Welcome to Home-Start Cymru
Home-Start Cymru offers free, confidential support and practical help to parents of young children living across Wales who are going through a difficult time.
Being a parent, whatever your situation, can be very difficult, especially when children are young. Many parents feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the stresses of family life, particularly if they have little support from family and friends when they need it most.
For some parents it’s a struggle because they are also having to cope with issues such as peri-natal depression, their or their child’s illness or disability, isolation or multiple birth.
Home-Start Cymru provides support to families across Wales, with locally funded projects running in Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Denbighshire, Gwent, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr , Powys,Gwynedd and Ynys Mon, and national projects operating in all areas.
Our Covid 19 specific projects will be seeking to deliver services across Wales during the current pandemic.

Please note that our service is still operating during the current coronavirus situation. Support is being offered remotely by staff and volunteers. We are still receiving referrals and expression of interest from volunteers wishing to support families during this difficult time.
