Cathy Groves

Cathy has recently joined Home-Start Cymru as Head of Finance and Resources, and will be responsible for the Finance, HR and IT functions of the charity.

Cathy’s career has spanned over various business sectors, including manufacturing, defence, financial services and Third Sector. In 2019 she joined a highly successful and respected welsh children’s rights charity, the Children in Wales. In this role as Finance and Operations Director, she was responsible for Finance, IT and Facilities and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working with Welsh Government, and other third sector partners throughout Wales; and is proud to have successfully helped navigated the children’s charity through the unprecedented pandemic period.
